Pete has over twenty years' experience communicating environmental and energy issues. He was a founder of the environmental news service Greenwire and served as its first editor-in-chief. In 2010-2011, he served as Communications Director for the national commission created by President Obama after of the 2010 Gulf oil spill. Pete also was the communications director for Resources for the Future, a DC-based think tank, where he launched its organizational blog, created its first podcast, and secured polling partnerships with the New York Times, USA Today, and ABC News.
Dave Cohen

Dave has decades of experience communicating environmental issues at the highest levels of the U.S. government. As press secretary and communications adviser at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, he provided strategic counsel to Administrators from both parties. Dave was on the front lines of such issues as the Chernobyl disaster, the 1992 Rio Earth Summit, and the 1990 Clean Air Act Amendments. In 2010-2011, he served as press secretary for the Obama oil spill commission. He was also press secretary for Resources for the Future, a DC-based environmental and energy think tank.
